Excellent staff friendly room comfortable
Staff are brilliant.very clean hotel.disappointed in the restaurant as i am gluten free and had advised them off this when booking.i got a confirmation email to say this was passed on to the chef.unfortunatley they did not cater for this and had no gluten free baps or bread so all i could have off the menu was potatoes and chicken..also i was not given the wi fi password even thou it is advertised for free wi fi..there was no one on reception from 9pm to 8am..i booked a superior room but this was very basic for the price...receptionist on checking out was very helpful after i explained how dissappointed i was.assured me that she would pass this on to managment and i would get a phone call from him....we will just have to wait and see if this happens.
Stayed here with my husband and we both enjoyed our stay. Food was lovely. Staff were all very friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spotless. And it was quiet in the room even with a live band on until the early hours. We will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel but in the middle of nowhere. Grand if you just want to rest your head
Comfy rooms and great location however the Food Hygiene rating for the hotel was observed as 1 star! When queried with the reception was told that they were awaiting a new sticker and that they had got 5 stars. Not so sure whether to believe as surely the inspectors could carry stickers?? Contact council for an update though their website still shows 1 star.The scheme gives businesses a rating from 5 to 0which is displayed at their premises and online so you can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.5 hygiene standards are very good4 hygiene standards are good3 hygiene standards are generally satisfactory2 some improvement is necessary1 major improvement is necessary0 urgent improvement is required
