My family and I booked Bespoke in August, and it was a wonderful time! They took the time to show us how to ride the horses which was great because half of us have never been on a horse before. After the instructional and countryside sections, they gave us tea and scones and we chatted with the owner who was a very kind man. Then we rode horses on the beach and everyone we talked to were very nice and cheerful. The scenery was beautiful, and we definitely felt like we were given plenty of time on the horses. Highly recommend this place!
This was an experience of a lifetime. I surprised my wife with an all day country and beach excursion to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The owners and staff did a fabulous job of making the surprise something truly special. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique adventure.
I did the "Taste of the North Coast" and "Game of Thrones" rides that included spectacular views of the countryside at the Sheans Horse Farm for the first hour, then changing locations, rode in lovely farmlands down to the beach where there was riding in the surf! Another change in location brought us to the Dark Hedges, of Game of Throne fame--it was magical!! The whole day was about what I wanted to do--our guide went out of his way to make sure this was my dream come true--the hospitality of the McKinley family, that started the day with tea and fresh scones at their kitchen table, made me feel so welcome--what a special way to experience the gorgeous North Coast area of Ireland!
Daniel and Mary and their family provided an absolutely splendid experience! They greeted us with open arms, escorted us to their lovely meeting room for a short video on the history of the area and served fresh home made delicious scones and jam, along with tea and coffee, and provided answers to many questions on the history of the area! The horses were fabulous, and they patiently worked with each rider to find the perfect horse for their experience and comfort zone. We rode everywhere at every gait and loved every minute of it - we explored beaches, castles, roads, fields, hills, moors, cliffs and much more! Whether a person is a beginner or an experienced rider such as myself, I completely believe anyone will have a marvelous time and enjoy every minute with the horses and the McKinley family! I highly recommend them, and I'll definitely be back!
We were looking for the opportunity to ride and see some of the countryside and we were not disappointed. Our group of seven riders were all beginners. We were fitted, mounted and went through a beginner refresher course before hitting the trail. We then headed up the hill behind the farm with our two superb guides. The views of the area were spectacular. We included the lunch in the loft with our package which I thoroughly recommend. The food and the views were spectacular. Not an experience we will soon forget. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful before, during and after our ride. For those interested in an exciting way to see the countryside I thoroughly recommend Sheans.
